BIRD Foundation Call for Proposals
The BIRD Foundation (US-Israel Binational Industrial Research and Development Foundation, www.birdf.com) is a program that promotes innovative R&D collaborations between U.S. and Israeli companies. BIRD supports selected collaborations and provides them with non-dilutive funding of up to 50% of their combined R&D budget associated with the joint project (up to $1M per project), without receiving any equity or intellectual property rights in the participating companies or in the project itself.
BIRD administers two general funding cycles per year plus an additional cycle for BIRD Energy (BIRD Energy Call for Proposals) which focuses on projects dealing with alternative and renewable energy.
A new program (NextGen First Responder Technologies Call for Proposals) has recently been established through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Israeli Ministry of Public Security to fund the development of advanced technologies for first responders.
Our goal is to create awareness of BIRD funding opportunities among Montana companies.
