West Paw Design

Spencer Williams bought a small cut-and-sew pet toy company in Livingston, Montana in 1996. Two years later, the West Paw Design crew outgrew its facility and moved 26 miles west to Bozeman where it is still housed in its state-of-the-art, eco-friendly manufacturing facility. West Paw Design has been practicing sustainability since its inception by using only USDA-certified catnip in its cat toys and non-toxic, recycled plastic fill and fabric in its toys and beds and by handcrafting and manufacturing every product right here in Montana.

West Paw Design believes that even a small company can have a big impact, so when it crafts its products, it does so mindfully—always in America, always by hand, and often with eco-friendly materials. West Paw Design empowers its employees to be innovative and encourages them to get involved in the community by offering paid time off for volunteering. At West Paw Design, success is measured not just by profit but by its social and environmental impact. These ideals helped the company become a Certified B Corp in 2013.
