Global Petroleum Show (GPS) is back June 12–14, 2012 in Calgary, Canada at Stampede Park. GPS is the meeting place for the global oil and gas industry showcasing the best in technologies, products and services. In 2012, it is expected to gather 60,000 registered attendees and over 2,000 exhibiting companies.

International attendees can now register to attend, and receive an exclusive invitation to attend the International Attendee Open House on Monday, June 11 - an event strictly for non-residents of Canada that will allow you to network with other international attendees. As well, get full access to the International Energy Marketplace – a meeting place for international professionals wishing to do business in Canada and abroad.

What's new?
The Canadian section of the largest engineering association in the world (Society of Petroleum Engineers) has come on board with Global Petroleum Show to produce a stellar heavy oil-related conference in the Palomino Rooms at Stampede Park, headed up by renowned heavy oil expert and Technical Chairman KC Yeung.

An impressive number of technical papers have been submitted for the SPE Heavy Oil Conference Canada taking place 12–14 June 2012, alongside Global Petroleum Show at Stampede Park. The online paper proposal submission system is now closed. The committee of your peers will now review and select the papers for the presentation. This event will examine modern drilling methods and techniques, among other relevant heavy oil-related topics.
