Montana World Trade Executive Director, Brigitta Miranda-Freer, and six trade delegates recently returned from a weeklong trade mission to Tel Aviv, Israel, where they developed sales agreements, cultivated new relationships and explored potential opportunities within the Israeli market.
Participants included Dr. Philippe Diaz of DermaXon, Chad Miller of MSE Consulting, Deb Poteet of Poteet Construction, Suresh Daniel and Dr. Elon Gilbert of Rocky Mountain Biologicals, Bill Clawson of LCW Supercritical Technologies, and Senior Advisor to Governor Bullock, Eric Stern.
Targeted meetings were set with over 30 Israeli firms that were determined by the Montana World Trade Center and their Israeli partners to be suitable prospects for product/service export and/or collaborative research and development. Participants also attended BioMed and New-Tech Exhibitions where they were able to leverage those connections even further within the Isreali bio and technology sectors.
“Our firm has three distinct technologies that we have multiple joint venture opportunities for BIRD foundation grants. MWTC has helped us to identify and connect with two or more potential partners for each,” said Bill Clawson of LCW Supercritical Technologies. “We’ve also initialized contact with a firm interested in our compact fluorescent recycling technology… This is an immediate business opportunity not grant opportunity.”
MWTC collaborated with the Israeli Ministry of Economy, Israel-America Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Commercial Service, the Israel-United States Binational Industrial Research and Development Foundation, and many others in planning events designed to maximize business success.
