May 18th – USMCA Agreement Update with US Department of Commerce

The USMCA trade agreement between the United States, Mexico, and Canada is set to go into force on July 1.  The agreement is designed to create a more balanced, reciprocal trade that supports jobs and grow the economy. What are the key differences between NAFTA and the USMCA?  Will the agreement move forward as planned in spite of the pandemic? Please join us on May 18th as we welcome Alex Tercero-Chacon as our guest speaker and highlight the new USMCA agreement with the U.S. Department of Commerce / International Trade Administration.

Alex Tercero-Chacon is a Mexico Desk Officer in the Office of North America at the U.S. Department of Commerce. His responsibilities include various programs, policies, and strategies designed to strengthen U.S. commercial relations with Mexico. He also works on U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) outreach efforts related to educating the business community on the benefits of the agreement.
